KNOWING THE WORD

THE WORD, THE SECRET, THE SUCCESS

Most times, when we are asked: what is the secret to a well fulfilled life? To many, the answer would be hard work, dedication or deep rooted into Christianity and or power of choice. The truth is that if there is one thing an average individual has almost unnoticed, it is the word of the mouth. Very many people are where they are today because of what they have said to themselves or what others said about them.

First thing to notice is that every human person is a product of what he speaks. You are defined by the outcome of what you speak. The ways you speak tell others about your academic status. The ways you speak also tell others about your personality. You will be lively and active if you speak positive words of life. On the other hand, you may be alive but living like a decorated corpse if you are the type that speaks or fill your life with negative words.
Psalm 34:12-13, “What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?  Keep thy tongue from evil and thy lips from speaking guile”.

Genesis 1: In the beginning God created the world. In verse 2, and God saw that the world (earth) was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. If God had not spoken may be things would have not change until in verse 3 when He said let there be light: and there was light. God had created you for his glory (Isaiah 43:7). He has also endowed you with dominance and authority (Genesis 1:26). He has also filled you with his peace (Roman 11:29). God has also empowered you to do greater things and God has remained your strength and power (II Samuel 22:33). That reminds me of John Lock when he said that man is born with an empty brain (Tabula Rasa). In other words, we are all born without knowledge, wisdom and sense, though the sense organs are there but without shape. Until such a person begins to create his life pattern, his world will continue to be empty. The only thing he needs at this point is the “word”. His world can only be designed by his words. People may play part in his life but he has everything at his disposal to start this journey.

Life is a magnet. Life attracts.  What you love is what is attracted to you. What you hate will be repelled from you. You can never get what you do not desire in life except otherwise. You associate with people of like minds because of what you mouth speak. Victors do not associate with losers. There is an imaginary line between success and failure. Success is light while failure is darkness, the two cannot meet. John 1:5 says “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not”.

Life is a fabric; we decide how to structure it. Life is a choice; we choose how to live it. Life is a business; we decide how to trade it. Life is an opportunity: we decide how to maximize it. The power to be a success or failure therefore, solely lies within us. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live (Deuteronomy 30:19).

Our world (life) has been built (created) by God; it is left for us to decide how to structure it. The very first thing we need is the word of Jesus. What is this word of God or who is this word of God. In facts, John 1:1-5 has the answer, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.  In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John went further in Chapter 14 verse 6 to give us more explanation about the pronoun “Him” when Jesus said; I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.    The underlining facts about the above scriptures are that our words must be in line with God’s word.

God started with the word. As a matter of fact, your life is like an empty house, the choice to beautify that house depends on what we want the house to look like. You can start your world in a positive or negative note. The choice is all ours.

Basically, there are two sources of the Words that influence our words.

(1)      THE WORD OF GOD: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him (Proverbs 30:5). For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer (Timothy 4:5). The word of God is life. Without the word of God we are left in the dark. This word of God can only be found in Jesus, see John 1:1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God … the same was in the beginning with God.  But the sad side of it is that many are yet to discover Jesus, the true word of life. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.  But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  That is why Jesus declared that “I am the way, truth and life”.

(2)      THE WORD OF SATAN: This type of word is destructive, accusing, deceptive and full of condemnation. Satan has nothing good for humans other than to destroy, steal and mislead through false teaching. In Job 2:4, And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life (destroyer).  In I Chronicles 21:1, Satan stood up against Israel (Opponent), and provoked David to number Israel.  In Jude 1:9, the devil revealed himself as the accuser of the brethren when Angel Michael the archangel, contended with the devil over the body of Moses, did he not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke thee.”  In Zechariah 3:1-3, he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.  Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.  In Genesis 3:1, the devil is described as subtle and cunning when he twisted the word of God. When he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?  When he knew that God said “do not”.

HELP ME ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS

HELP ME ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS

1.  Do you know that you are God’s investment here on earth?
2.   Do you know any investment is money?
3.   Do you know that you are a custodian of money?
4.   Do you know that your God given gift can produce money?
5.   Do you know that wisdom is convertible?
6.   Do you know that wisdom and money are interchangeable?
7.   Do you know that the gift of God inside you can be converted into money and wealth if you use it rightly?
8.   Do you know that wisdom is money? Do you also know that wisdom can be money but money can never be wisdom? Argue if you like.
9.   Do you know that your God giving gift is in connection with other gifts, then connect with the right people and see the chemistry thereof?
10.     Do you know that it is never too late to start it, just now, I mean right now.

After you finish with the above ten question about yourself, now answer these next ten questions about your existence here on earth.

1.   Who am I?
2.   Do I have purpose here on earth?
3.   What can I do?
4.   Do I have a creator?
5.   Am I a product of evolution or a creator myself?
6.   Am I living in another man's lane?
7.   Are things supposed to be the way they are? If no, why
8.   Then why, why, why all these ups and downs?
9.   Can I change, if so how can I change?
10.      What if I die today? What account will I give of myself?

Then the gift God has deposited in you is your source of income (money and prosperity). Until you discover this secret you will continue to run around looking for money where you can never find it. The number one gift every individual has is the gift of wisdom. Wisdom has so many varieties which include wisdom to speak, act, and think in many other spheres of life. The basic question is this, “what is your God given gift?” Are you good in creativity or designing, writing such as poem, history (fictional and non fictional stories), and public speech (making people laugh). Do not think about the funding, first put what you can do together and do it effectively. Just take one step at a time, fill that step and you will discover another one. That is the rule of nature, do not create a step (space) and leave it empty. It is against the law of Nature to create vacuum. Otherwise, nature will fill that space itself.

The next question you should ask yourself is this: Is my life worth it, do I have value, wisdom, ideas, skill and potentials, if yes then you have something to start with. Then ask yourself, can I convert this skill, ideas, wisdom and knowledge to something tangible? Mind you, it is not what you see with your eyes but what you see with your mind, and all about what you do. It is not what is inside of you but what you bring out to reality. People can only see your wisdom, skill, potential and other gifts and talents through what you produce. In other words, you should be able to convert idea and wisdom into reality. This has nothing to do with formal education because I have seen illiterates achieving greatness. Something losers complain it is God that give them even if they don’t struggle they will still achieve it. Why making God a liar. Has God not giving us the same opportunity to achieve a purpose, has God not giving all men the same time (24 hours a day)? Except that God deposited something different and unique in every one of us that no other human person can have, something so unique, peculiar and a treasure that can never be traded for anything. Let me tell you this, no human being will have what God has deposited in you, no, not even your identical twins.

Another fact you must know is that money is a seed. It takes the planting of seeds to reap fruits. It takes the planting of seed to generate another seed. If the seed is planted at the right time, and at the right place, then you will reap or harvest joyfully. It takes money to produce money.  Money is what money can buy. I have my wisdom, and you have your money. I have my potentials and ideas, and you have your money. I need your money and you need my wisdom. For me to get that money that I am looking for, I must convert my abstract money (wisdom and ideas) to real money (legal tender). Here comes the problem, many who have discover this are even using this God given gifts to threaten humanity. Use your gift to replenish the world- Genesis 1:28. Your parent being poor is not a barometer for any excuse to remain poor. It is what you do that makes the difference and break the barrier of limitation and poverty in your lineage.

Maximizing Youthful Potentials

WRONG BELIEF ABOUT POVERTY

WRONG BELIEF ABOUT POVERTY

You are not poor because you were born into a poor family. No, you are poor because you have welcome and gave poverty a space in your life. You must stop putting blame on your family that you are not successful. You are not poor because the society made you poor and unproductive. You are poor because of that single choice you made. Until you made the right and painful decision of stepping out of you comfort zone, you will be deceived by the erroneous choice that has paralyzed your dream of greatness. Proverbs 10:20 says “the tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth”.  Your choice therefore, is a single action that determines how you maximize the greatness of God’s potential in you. My friend Daniel Agim, in his book titled “There is a King in you” reminds me that every one of us has kingship treasure inside of us. But most people have also made their kings a beggar. Kings do not beg. They exercise the kingship dominion.

Poverty is not that you do not have ideas but that you are not creative with your ideas. That is why you are still in poverty. Poverty is not what stops you but how you halt yourself from moving forward. The society does not make you who you are but only help you base on how you present yourself to them. Poverty is not that you have been in one place for too long but that you have refused to move forward after a long time. Poverty is not that those things you need in life are not there but that you have refused to see them with your mind. Poverty does not mean that you have dream enough to see good things but that you have slept too long and wake very late to transform them into reality. You cannot be who you are, live the dream of another man and expect to fulfill your God giving potentials. Living in the shadow of another man is the worst accident of life.

Poverty and wealth are like strangers. These two variables can never dwell in you at a particular time of life. You are influenced by one of them at a particular point of life. You are either poor or rich. You can never be poor and at the same time wealthy. It is a contradiction of life’s reality. Many old persons still make these regretful statements that if they were a young persons today, they would have gain a sense of themselves and even correct so many mistakes of their youths. It is on this ground that youths must stand to their responsibilities.

YOUTHFUL CHALLENGES PTII

 YOUTHFUL CHALLENGE PART II
Often time, I hear a lot of young men crying that they do not have money; yet they have the resources at their disposal to achieve what their dreams are. Others complain they do not have helpers, sponsors, or who to give them enough money to start. To them they have dreams to live great and live big, but they do not have the money to start. Many end up blaming others for their woes and failures; others complain that this is how God wants it. There is no way they can change things. They grew up and met things they way things are.

According to them, there is nothing they can do. Their great grandfathers, their grandfather and father were in this state. There is nothing to worry about; it is part of the process. Sometimes, they end up telling you this is how God wants it. Who told you there is nothing you can do? There is a lot you can do. In fact, you have everything at your disposal to effect the desire change. Forget about money first, make impact in people’s life and you will discovered something much more than money could have done. The people you are looking up to can only take from you and will give you nothing in return. Have you ever heard that riches and wealth have so many companions, friends and relatives but poverty has none. The world can never give you the best, you owe yourself the responsibility and the mandate to give yourself the very best you need to climb to the apex of life.

Sometimes, I do not blame these youngsters. I was once in that shoe and I know how ugly and bitter it used to be. Before I lost my father, my life was comfortable. I had everything at my disposal. Things went from dreams to reality. But when my father left, I saw the other side of life. I almost curse God, but thank God I did not.

The problem was not that my father was gone and the source of money, pleasure and comfort also gone, no. I simply refused to acknowledge that I am a source of money, greatness and that I can become who I want to be and that my father did something to get where I met him to provide for us. Just like Isaiah, I was in the king’s palace until something happened. I hid my talent focusing on another person’s effort. But God told me you have to stand yourself. It is what you do that brings the desired change. Change is not what the world does to you but what you do to change the world. Though I used to read books about God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, I never had close intimacy with them but there is always this burning fire in me that propels me each time I am about to give up or blow up everything. God did not want his investment in me to perish just like that (Isaiah 43:1-7). I pray God’s investment will not perish in your life in Jesus name, and I hear you say amen.
